ASTA D541 is a direct-acting pressure reducing valve designed to automatically maintain a given output pressure of the working medium. The operating principle is based on balancing the elastic deformation force of the adjustment spring and the force created by the pressure difference on the bellows actuator.
They are mainly used in systems with low requirements for pressure maintenance accuracy and relatively constant steam consumption, such as cooking kettles, sterilizers, steam presses, etc.
