ASTA P01 series — basic design diaphragm control valves. The valve consists of a durable reinforced diaphragm acting as a shut-off element; a housing whose internal projection acts as a seat, and a spring pressing the diaphragm to the housing. The valve housing has nozzles for sampling pulses: at the valve inlet, at the valve outlet, and from the control chamber above the diaphragm. When an input pressure pulse is supplied to the control chamber, the valve closes; when the control chamber is connected to an output pressure pulse or the atmosphere, it opens. The valves have a wide range of applications depending on the type of control pilot.
