ASTA PM THERMOKON is a mechanical float steam trap with a built-in bypass needle valve designed for efficient condensate drainage from steam lines. It is used in systems with siphon condensate drainage. The rise of condensate relative to the drainage point, load spread, and the specifics of equipment operation can cause the formation of steam locks in front of the steam trap, which complicates the drainage of condensate as it forms and can disrupt the operation of the equipment. The built-in steam release valve allows for a small adjustable steam flow into the bypass of the main valve, eliminating steam locks. They are mainly used in the piping of rotating drying cylinders, cooking boilers, consumers with a rising condensate line, etc.
