Overview

ASTA PM THERMOKON is a mechanical float steam trap designed for efficient condensate drainage from steam lines. The operating principle is based on the difference in density between steam and condensate. When the housing is filled with condensate, the hollow float floats up and opens the outlet valve. Non-condensable gases are discharged through a thermostatic air vent built into the upper part of the housing. It is mainly used for drainage of steam pipelines, heat exchange equipment, steam registers, heaters, autoclaves, cooking kettles, drying cylinders, etc.
